"Who?"

Started at Symmetry Music and Arts Festival in Iowa. This piece was inspired by the loud owl that keeps me company on late painting nights. I have always been drawn to painting at night to mitigate distractions and the only thing noticeably awake with me is the owl living in my backyard. Occasionally being in a rather fragile headspace it began to sink in... who? Who am I as an artist, who am I as a friend, and who am I as a human being. It sparked intense transformation that has carried me through to the present and hopefully beyond. This piece is my interpretation of I visualize my owl friend.
